6 – 9pm
Students will learn to read draft patterns while experimenting with a variety of structures on eight shaft looms. Some weavings experience is required and students should have knowledge of warp/weft calculators and loom set up before taking this course. Overshots, twills, textures and color exploration will be covered in this exciting in depth exploration of weaving. Open studio sessions (Wednesday and Sunday from 12-4pm) are included during the 4 week course and it is recommended that students are available for those extra hours to complete an advanced project.
